Beginner's Running/General Fitness
We understand that not every athlete we get may be ready to compete at high-level events. We also know that some kids may just want to participate in practices and not compete while still learning to exercise and/or run. Because everyone has a different comfort-level while exercising, we created a program that allows everyone to be part of a group and reap the health benefits of regular exercise.
Beginning athletes are introduced to proper technique and trained progressively to improve their fitness. We also believe in teaching our athletes the importance of nutrition, hydration, injury prevention, and rest in maintaining a healthy body and enjoying exercise. Miami Elite approaches exercise and running through a progressive and long-term strategy to assure that the body has time to adapt and thus avoid setbacks from injuries.
