Head Coach and Founder
Danny Aguas
Coach Aguas has worked with athletes of all ages to prepare for competitions from sprints to distance events. He currently serves as the program director and head coach for Cross Country and Track & Field at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy.
Assistant Track Coach
Barbara Hernandez
Barbara graduated from Doral in 2023. She will be continuing her running career at FIU. She looks to help athletes improve and shape the next generation of elite runners.
Assistant Sprints Coach
Daniela Alvarez
Coach Daniela is a Miami Elite alumni. She ran high school cross country and track at St. Brendan HS. She now competes at the collegiate level at FIU.

Raul Ley
Raul Ley graduated from Doral Academy Charter High School in 2020 . Since then, he has founded a clothing brand, Think Later, and started coaching at Doral as an alumnus and Miami Elite. He now serves as the assistant XC coach and Head Sprints Coach at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy
Throws Coach
Carlos Flores
Coach Flores comes to us as a highly successful coach. He has coached at the collegiate level and now serves as the head throws coach at Belen Jesuit Prep.
Assistant Distance Coach
Giovanni Armas
Sprints Coach
Tavius Ferguson
Coach Ferguson started off running long distances but shortly after he switched over to sprints. He earned a collegiate scholarship to Warner University and has since been coaching short distances all around South Florida. Coach Ferguson now serves as the Head Sprints Coach at Webber International University
Head Developmental Coach
Michelle Bueno
Coach Bueno has been assisting Coach Aguas since the start of Miami Elite and was even one of his athletes. She is now working closely with athletes to improve their technique and form.
Assistant Track Coach
Christian Ivonnet
Christian Ivonnet is a Miami Elite alumni, trained by Coach Aguas and Coach Michelle. Since then has become a state champion in the 4x800m and a state qualifier in the 3200m; earning him a roster spot on the FIU XC&TF team.
